Three clubs with a lot to offer
Kereone Rugby and Sports Club
Kereone Rugby and Sports Club has been bringing people together through sport for more than 100 years. Established in 1919, the club has played an important role in the Morrinsville community, creating opportunities for generations of players, supporters and volunteers to connect, compete and belong.
What began as a rugby club has grown into a thriving multi-sport community. Today, Kereone offers rugby, junior rugby, netball and beach volleyball, providing pathways for people of all ages and abilities to get involved, stay active and build lifelong friendships.
Proud of its rich history and strong community spirit, Kereone remains a welcoming place where everyone can find their team. Whether you're pulling on a jersey, cheering from the sidelines, volunteering your time or joining us for the first time, you'll always find a warm welcome at Kereone.
Morrinsville Sports
Morrinsville Sports Club was formed in 1996 through the merger of two rival clubs, Morrinsville United Old Boys and St Joseph's Rugby Club. Established to promote, support, and encourage competitive sport within the Waikato, the club also plays an important role in fostering the social wellbeing of its members, players, and wider community.
Today, Morrinsville Sports provides opportunities across rugby, netball, and touch, catering for players of all ages and abilities. The club fields Premier, Development, Colts U21 and Under 85kg rugby teams, seven netball teams playing across A and B grade in Morrinsville, and touch teams competing in local competitions.
For nearly 30 years, Morrinsville Sports has been a place where people come together to compete, connect, and represent their community with pride, making it one of the largest and most successful sporting clubs in the Waikato.
